“The Hunt for Permafrost Mammoths in Early 20th-Century Beringia”

Professor Rebecca Woods spoke in the Yukon Beringia Science Centre Talks series about expeditions to the Alaska-Yukon borderlands 1904-1908. Catch the recap here.

A lot of this talk was based on a beta version of a mapping project, which plotted the approximate route of two collectors in the region.
Plot points combined deconstructed published material with archival sources to create a more robust version of collectors' itineraries.
